Water On Wheels 2008
In November 2008, approximately 50 firefighters, some coming from as far away as Georgia, conducted an exercise in Montevallo intended to help them keep a continuous water supply as they battle fires with no close water source.
Fire Chief Spruce McRee organized the exercise and hopes to see such training become part of the Alabama Fire College's curriculum.
