Our Volunteers
Our firefighters range from rookies who have recently joined to veterans with over 30 years experience.
The ranks include not only the men and women who actually deal with fire, but also Drivers, Safety Officers, Rehab, Support and Maintenance.
The department has officers and certified instructors to provide needed training. Training is a critical factor in the efficiency of a fire department and the safety of its personnel. Volunteers participate in weekly training, monthly drills, live burns, and multi-departmental training exercises with our mutual aid departments.
Our Mission
To serve the citizens of Brierfield and Six Mile with professional rapid emergency response and other services that save lives and protect property.
